Research, Reports and Publications

Research, Monitoring and Evaluation (RM&E) is a key component of successful salmon recovery planning and adaptive management by the Federal Action Agencies. RM&E provides information on the health of fish populations and their environment, identifies where and what types of actions are needed and most effective, and helps us understand the underlying scientific relationships needed to make appropriate management decisions. The Federal Caucus Agencies dedicate substantial funding and staff resources to RM&E and coordinate this work through several regional forums.
